Susan Kildahl is CFO of NHS Northstar, Inc., a disability services provider in northern Minnesota. Guiding the transition of NHS Northstar to an ESOP, she came to see the advantages to ESOP companies when employees understand the ESOP structure, culture and financial benefits. This led to the development of guiding principles to empower all employees to participate through responsible and effective decision making. Her focus is on optimizing performance so the organization can best meet the needs of clients and employees.
