Experience a meeting where we don't just talk about how an ESOP works – we see it in action by playing the parts of our participants in different stages of life in an ESOP. Be prepared for an all-inclusive, interactive session. From potential hires to new participants to retirees, we'll cover all the lifecycles and what happens to their accounts over time. (Don't worry, no actual shoe exchange is involved!) NCEO ResourceThe Download: NCEO Group: ICC Group
Learning Objectives:
Demonstrate when a participant moves from one stage of ESOP participation to another by seeing individuals move to tables representing a different stage (e.g., a potential hire accepts the job and moves to new hire).
Define the various lifecycles of ESOP participation by following an example company with common plan design features and explain the rules in a way any employee can understand.
Connect the plan rules to the administrative functions of an ESOP to better understand timing, process, and reasons behind chosen plan design features, as well as follow the behind-the-scenes movement of shares and exchange of cash.
